Our Story

Rooted in
Oaxacan soil

We don't import what grows an hour away. We don't reinvent what three generations already perfected. The mole is dark because it's supposed to be. The coffee is from the mountain above us because why would it be from anywhere else.

Terra-Cotta is a destination. The kind of place where locals grab their morning coffee, travelers discover tasajo for the first time, and everybody stays longer than they planned. On the town square of La Crucecita since '99.

★★★★★

"Breakfast here is the best start to any morning in Huatulco. The mole negro enchiladas are unreal and the coffee keeps us coming back."

★★★★★

"We came for one breakfast and ended up eating here every single day of our trip. The chilaquiles are life-changing, the staff remembers your name."

★★★★★

"This is what eating in Mexico should feel like. Not a resort buffet — a real kitchen run by people who care. The Oaxacan chocolate cappuccino alone is worth the trip."
