Breakfast is served from 8:00am to 1:00pm, and lunch/dinner from 1:00pm to 11:00pm. We are open every day of the week.

We serve Oaxacan and Mexican cuisine made with local ingredients. Our specialties include mole negro, tasajo, molotes, and organic Pluma Hidalgo coffee from the mountains above Huatulco.

Does Terra-Cotta have a bar or cocktails?

Yes, we have a full bar featuring Oaxacan mezcal, tequila, tropical cocktails, and coffee cocktails. Our mezcal selection includes over 15 varieties from local producers.

Can I order whole cakes from Terra-Cotta?

Yes, we bake all of our cakes and pastries on-site daily. Whole cakes are available with 24-hour advance notice for birthdays, weddings, and special occasions.

Our Story

Rooted in
Oaxacan soil

We don't import what grows an hour away. We don't reinvent what three generations already perfected. The mole is dark because it's supposed to be. The coffee is from the mountain above us because why would it be from anywhere else.

Terra-Cotta is a destination. The kind of place where locals grab their morning coffee, travelers discover tasajo for the first time, and everybody stays longer than they planned. On the town square of La Crucecita since '99.
